Helen first noticed swelling in her legs, not realizing it could be linked to her heart. She was soon diagnosed with tricuspid regurgitation, a leaky valve that took both a mental and physical toll.
After her valve was fixed, Helen says her mind is sharper, and she’s back to living independently – even driving long distances to make joyful memories with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
