Managing or preventing high blood pressure is among the most important steps we can take to maintain heart health. One of the main causes of hypertension is a diet too high in sodium. With World Salt Awareness Week taking place this month (March 10–16), let’s cut back on how much salt we eat while checking our blood pressure numbers regularly.
